Condition of service
Gansu province is the southern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the terrain is undulating, and the elevation difference is great. At the same time, the climate belongs to the mountain original monsoon climate, which is controlled by the dry continental monsoon in winter, and the humid Marine monsoon prevails in summer. The overall terrain elevation difference is obvious, and the daily air volume is sufficient, which is suitable for using BioFilter non-power type products. 
Local villages are scattered and mostly in the mountains, located in remote areas with inconvenient transportation. Routine sewage treatment equipment requires regular maintenance by professional staff, and has high labor and time costs. In the long run, it is difficult to ensure the normal operation of the equipment. 
According to the analysis of resident population and daily water use in different villages of the project, the technicians suggest the selection of non-power purification tank equipment. The purification tank is based on the principle of biofilm method, adopts natural ventilation, and does not require electricity or maintenance by professional and technical personnel during daily operation, meeting the needs of users in remote areas.
